Computing Lecturer
Location: Doncaster College
Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: £23 – £28 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing

About the Role.

Doncaster College is seeking an experienced and passionate Computing Lecturer to join our team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This role will involve delivering up to Level 3 Computing courses, providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the fast-evolving tech industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching computing, along with the qualifications and expertise to inspire the next generation of IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities.

• Delivering Computing lessons up to Level 3
• Planning and preparing engaging, interactive lessons in line with the curriculum
• Assessing and providing feedback on student work
• Supporting and mentoring students throughout their studies
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress
• Contributing to the development and improvement of the Computing department

Requirements.

• Teaching Qualification (TQ) is essential
• Previous experience delivering Computing courses, particularly up to Level 3
• Strong knowledge of the Computing curriculum
• Passion for teaching and supporting students in their learning journey
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
