What does a Recruitment Consultant do?

The role of a Recruitment Consultant combines sales, relationship building and business development.

As an ambassador of The Protocol Group with both candidates and clients and will be driven to achieve/ exceed sales targets by successfully placing day-to-day, temporary & permanent placements within Education establishments.

Responsibilities

To be successful in Recruitment you will need to do the following:

  • Be commercially driven to maximise every opportunity
  • Effectively use sales, marketing techniques, job boards & social media platforms to attract both specialist candidates and clients to use you!
  • Make business development calls, along with emails/pitches to clients to pick up potential business
  • Be proactive in your approach to candidates and clients through selling opportunities, such as selling candidates via speccing or selling roles to passive candidates
  • Build your brand through effective and consistent social media presence, client visits, networking events, and candidate surgeries
  • Build solid relationships with both candidates and clients & ensure candidate and client management is delivered to the highest standards
  • Promote all Protocol services by cross-selling and be fully competent to sell them
  • Show consistent commitment to company standards in complying with all relevant legislation, e.g. Compliance and GDPR.
  • Ensure the Protocol CRM database remains up to date and accurate, and you will ensure your administration is of the highest standard
  • Achieve your weekly KPIs & monthly sales targets
