Colleges and further education providers offer a broad range of courses, including academic qualifications like GCSEs and A Levels, as well as vocational qualifications such as NVQs, BTECs, Apprenticeships, and T-Levels. Some institutions also provide Foundation degrees, Higher Apprenticeships (equivalent to degrees), and other higher education qualifications, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Some colleges offer 100s of courses, while other, smaller colleges specialise in a smaller subject area – like creative media, land-based studies and agriculture.
