Beauty (Nails) Lecturer – Part Time
Location: Doncaster (DN Colleges Group)
Hours: 11.5 hours per week
Schedule:
- Monday: 12:30 – 15:30
- Tuesday: 09:30 – 16:00
- Friday: 09:30 – 12:00
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
An FE College in Doncaster is seeking a part-time Beauty (Nails) Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in Beauty Therapy, with a focus on nail services. This role includes course tutor and pastoral responsibilities for a caseload of students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess Beauty Therapy (nails) to full- and part-time learners.
- Act as course tutor and provide pastoral support.
- Embed Functional Skills English and maths within teaching.
- Use ILT to support learning.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment.
- Uphold student discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
- Ensure all teaching materials meet internal quality standards.
Requirements:
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).
- Level 2 or above in Beauty Therapy (nails).
- Relevant industry and teaching experience.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
