Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only (38 weeks per year)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £20,065.60 actual (£23,519 FTE)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to join a dynamic and supportive team. This role provides tailored support to students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities studying Construction subjects. It is key to helping students access the curriculum and achieve greater independence and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support within the classroom and wider college settings

• Adapt learning materials to suit individual learner needs

• Empower students to meet EHCP outcomes and academic goals

• Maintain accurate records on support delivery and learner progress

• Support students in developing independence and confidence across their studies

Essential Requirements:

• GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or equivalent)

• Level 2 Learning Support Qualification (or willingness to work towards)

• Experience supporting learners with special educational needs

• Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
