Job Title: Personal Development Coach
Location: Cambridgeshire-based College
Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only (38 weeks including one week at each end of the academic year)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,398 – £27,072 actual (£29,770 – £31,732 FTE)

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused PD Coach to provide pastoral and academic support to full-time learners. This role is embedded within curriculum teams to ensure learners are supported to thrive and progress, with a strong emphasis on personal development, enrichment, and employability.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one tutorials, TMail sessions, and small group Century workshops

Monitor learner progress and engagement, especially those with EHCPs or additional needs

Contribute to personal development curriculum content and enrichment activities

Support the transition of learners into further study or employment

Record interventions accurately and liaise with internal support services
Essential Requirements:

Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
-
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)

Experience working with young people in educational settings

Strong understanding of safeguarding and assistive technology
- Ability to motivate and guide learners to reach their potential
