Job Title: Personal Development Coach

Location: Cambridgeshire-based College
Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only (38 weeks including one week at each end of the academic year)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,398 – £27,072 actual (£29,770 – £31,732 FTE)

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused PD Coach to provide pastoral and academic support to full-time learners. This role is embedded within curriculum teams to ensure learners are supported to thrive and progress, with a strong emphasis on personal development, enrichment, and employability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-to-one tutorials, TMail sessions, and small group Century workshops

• Monitor learner progress and engagement, especially those with EHCPs or additional needs

• Contribute to personal development curriculum content and enrichment activities

• Support the transition of learners into further study or employment

• Record interventions accurately and liaise with internal support services

Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)

• Experience working with young people in educational settings

• Strong understanding of safeguarding and assistive technology

• Ability to motivate and guide learners to reach their potential
