Job Title: Electrical Installations Lecturer
Location: Lincolnshire-based College
Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Recruitment Incentive (paid on successful completion of probation)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Lecturer in Electrical Installations to join an expanding team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Electrical Installations, ensuring students achieve their full potential. You will also be involved in student recruitment, curriculum design, and administrative tasks, contributing to the success of our Electrical Installations program.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Electrical Installations, including commercial qualifications (e.g., PAT Testing, 18th Edition, 2391).

Develop and maintain engaging schemes of work and lesson plans.

Monitor student performance, maintaining high standards of achievement, discipline, and punctuality.

Provide tutorial support and guidance to students, acting as a course tutor where necessary.

Support recruitment activities, including interviewing, induction, and counselling of new students.

Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance processes.

Maintain knowledge of curriculum developments in the subject area.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and other college policies.
What We’re Looking For:

A full Level 3, HNC/HND, or Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations.

Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
-
Relevant, recent industrial experience in Electrical Installations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

An understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to creating a safe learning environment.

Teaching experience and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, PTTLS, Cert Ed) are desirable.
