Lecturer in Travel and Tourism
Location: Cambridgeshire-based College
Salary: £25 – £28 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Hours: 37 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Learning: Deliver inspirational teaching for Travel & Tourism students studying at Levels 1 – 5
- Assessment: Provide teaching and assessment opportunities in line with awarding body requirements, and maintain teaching materials and resources.
- Tutorial Duties: Act as a course and personal tutor, supporting learners in achieving their targets and tracking their progress.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications or industry experience.
- Level 3 literacy and numeracy qualifications.
- Experience in teaching and assessing within the Travel and Tourism sector.
- Full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS)
- Knowledge of policies and procedures in the Travel and Tourism sector.
