Student Warden
Leicester-based FE College
Full-time (8am – 4.30pm), term time
£12.34 per hour
Temporary contract
As a Student Warden, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and respectful study environment for students and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting students and ensuring compliance with the college’s code of conduct
- Encouraging positive behaviour in social and study spaces
- Supporting disciplinary and intervention processes
- Reporting unauthorized visitors and assisting as needed
Requirements:
- Good standard of Maths and English
- Commitment to professional development.
- Supervisory experience and customer-facing roles are essential, experience with IT and working with 16–19-year-olds is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to young people professionally.
- Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor college spaces in all weather conditions.
