A leading further education provider in Oldham is seeking an experienced Computing & IT Lecturer to deliver engaging and industry-relevant teaching to students at Level 2 and Level 3. This role provides an opportunity to equip learners with essential digital skills, including:
- Computer network design and implementation
- Website development and UX/UI principles
- 3D CAD and digital modelling
- Computer system architecture and maintenance
- Cybersecurity strategies and data protection
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning on BTEC Level 2 and 3 courses
- Use innovative teaching methods to engage students in both theoretical and practical aspects of computing
- Support learners in developing hands-on experience with the latest industry technologies
- Assess, monitor, and provide feedback to ensure students achieve their full potential
Candidate Requirements:
- A teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one
- Relevant industry experience in IT, computing, or digital technologies
- A strong understanding of BTEC and HN computing qualifications
- A commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting student progression
