A leading FE College is looking for an experienced Veterinary Nursing Lecturer to join their team. They offer impressive new facilities, on-site commercial enterprise and a range of FE and HE courses.
They are looking for a Lecturer to teach, train and assess students and other client groups. This post is working 3 days per week, for a total for 22.2 hours.
Deliver Veterinary Industry courses whilst participating in Curriculum development to meet the needs of changing industrial demand and College development.
Tutor and manage one or more courses or groups of students and participate in demonstrations and practical activities. The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
Experience working in a veterinary practice and relevant Animal Health industry knowledge.
Experience of working within the Higher Education/Further Education sector or with young people is an advantage but is not essential as full training would be given. Educated to BSc level or equivalent in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Science related subject and have an excellent knowledge base. Hold or be willing to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons to full-time, part-time, and short course students.
- Contribute to curriculum development and ensure industry relevance.
- Participate in quality monitoring processes to maintain high standards.
