ESOL Lecturer (Part-Time, Fixed-Term)
📍 Location: Birkenhead | 🕒 16 hours per week (Afternoons, Mon-Thurs) until Easter | 💰 Competitive Hourly Rate
Are you passionate about supporting learners in developing their English language skills? A Further Education college in Birkenhead is seeking a dedicated ESOL Lecturer to join our team on a part-time, fixed-term basis until Easter.
The Role
As an ESOL Lecturer, you will:
✔️ Deliver engaging and interactive ESOL lessons to learners at various levels.
✔️ Plan and adapt teaching materials to support student progress.
✔️ Assess and track learner development, providing constructive feedback.
✔️ Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
✔️ Work closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality language provision.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
🔹 A recognised ESOL/English teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, PGCE in ESOL/Literacy, or equivalent).
🔹 Experience teaching ESOL in an FE, community, or adult learning setting.
🔹 Strong classroom management and communication skills.
🔹 A learner-centred approach, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
