Finance Assistant

Location: Rotherham
Salary: £13-14 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Temporary on going

Protocol is working with College based in Rotherham to recruit a temporary Finance Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within an educational setting while supporting the college’s finance team with their daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the processing of financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting with the preparation of invoices and payments
• Helping with monthly and year-end reporting
• Reconciling accounts and assisting in the preparation of financial statements
• General administrative support within the finance department

Requirements:

• Previous experience in finance or accounting is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• DBS on the update service
