Plumbing Assessor – West Yorkshire
35 Hours per Week | Salary: £30-£35 per hour
Are you an experienced plumbing professional with a passion for assessing and mentoring the next generation of tradespeople? We are looking for a Plumbing Assessor to join a college in West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support plumbing apprentices and students in both practical and theory-based assessments.
- Provide expert feedback and guidance to help learners meet industry standards.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and offer constructive advice to aid continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to develop and maintain high-quality training programs.
- Ensure all assessments are conducted in line with industry standards and relevant qualifications.
Requirements:
- A recognised plumbing qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
- A relevant assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in the plumbing industry with a strong knowledge of the trade.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to support and inspire learners.
- Experience in assessing learners in a formal or informal capacity is desirable.
