Pastoral Tutor (Construction Learners)
Birmingham
Part time – 18.5 hours per week over 3 days (flexible on which days)
Temporary on-going with termly performance reviews
£20 – £22 per hour
The role;
This position will be working within a Further Education College providing Pastoral Support and Tutoring to Construction Learners. This will include leading Small group student tutorials, providing support and assistance with student learning, record keeping and liaising with students, lecturers and parents.
The Person;
We are therefore seeking individuals that have experience providing Pastoral Support, Guidance and Mentoring to learners within an educational setting. Ideally a basic understanding of construction courses would be beneficial however the role and the tasks are generic to all areas of learning so the construction experience isn’t essential.
Have you got what it takes?
- A background providing Pastoral Guidance and Support to individuals
- Experience with working with learners or individuals aged 16 – 19 years
- A basic knowledge of Construction trades courses (not essential)
