Are you passionate about animal care and education? Do you want to inspire the next generation of animal management professionals? A Further Education college in Birkenhead is seeking an enthusiastic Animal Management Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis.
The Role
As an Animal Management Lecturer, you will:
✔️ Deliver engaging lessons across a range of Animal Management topics, including welfare, behaviour, health, and husbandry.
✔️ Plan, assess, and support learners to achieve their qualifications.
✔️ Provide hands-on, practical learning experiences alongside classroom-based teaching.
✔️ Support student progression into further study or employment.
✔️ Ensure course content aligns with industry standards and awarding body requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
🔹 A degree (or equivalent) in Animal Management, Animal Science, or a related subject.
🔹 A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
🔹 Experience teaching or working within the animal care industry.
🔹 Strong communication skills and a passion for student development.
