Position: Estates/Grounds Maintenance
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (7 hours per day with 1 hour unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour + Holiday Pay (total £15.97 per hour including HP)
Type: Temporary, ongoing
Location: Romford, East London
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Grounds Maintenance / Sub-Contractor Coordinator. This is a temporary, ongoing position to replace a previous temp agency member. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting and coordinating sub-contractors and overseeing grounds maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage sub-contractors for various grounds maintenance projects.
- Ensure all grounds maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain clear communication with sub-contractors and internal teams.
- Monitor and report on the progress of maintenance activities.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during maintenance projects.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
