Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer
Location: South Yorkshire-based college.
Contract: Permanent Position
Hourly Rate: Salary up to £37,199 per annum including Market Force Supplement
The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join an FE College based in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a joinery professional to make a career change; down with the “tools” and into the classroom to share your knowledge and expertise influencing the next generation of skilled carpenters. You may also be an experienced tutor or assessor, looking for a change or a new challenge.
You will play an important role in developing creative resources to inspire outstanding learning and will be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of learner progress to promote positive outcomes for learners.
Requirements
- Hold an Assessors Award and/or Teaching Qualification.
- Have industry experience.
- You will be able to bring the subject to life, using combined methods of practical, theoretical and digital which will engage your learners and provide them with the best skills, knowledge and behaviours for the future.
- Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
