Job Title: Childcare Lecturer

Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire-based College

Job Type: Temporary ongoing, Part-Time, 4 days per week (Mon – Thurs)

Salary: £23 – £25 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures in Childcare across levels 1-3 NCFE including the T level
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress
• Some marking may be required

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant teaching qualification
• Good understanding of childcare practices and theories
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Childcare or related field
• Previous experience in teaching or training in the childcare sector
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE)

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, 4 days per week, Monday – Thursday
• Temporary position with the possibility of extension
