Temporary on-going
£27 – £32 per hour
Timetable;
Mondays – 9.15am-12pm + 12.45-3.30pm
Tuesdays – 9.15am-12pm + 12.45-3.30pm
Wednesdays – 12.45-3.30pm
Thursdays – 9.15am-12pm
The role;
This position will be working with learners in the college workshops. We are therefore looking for an individual that is competent in handing basic workshop equipment such as lathes, circular saws etc. To teach students how to handle the machinery safely and effectively. Learners will be on the BTEC Level 3 National Certificate in Engineering qualification.
Have you got what it takes?
- A level 3 or above qualification in a relevant field (Mechanical/ Engineering)
- Industry and Practical experience within Mechanical Fields
- A teaching qualification – Preferred but not essential
- Experience delivering Practical workshop sessions within Mechanical Engineering
