Job Title: Lecturer in Electrical Installation
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £40 per hour 
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

Are you an experienced and qualified Electrical professional ready to shape the future of learners at Levels 2, 3, and T Level? We are looking for a passionate Lecturer in Electrical Installation to deliver outstanding teaching and support across our full-time and apprenticeship provision.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver and develop engaging Electrical Installation courses up to Level 3 and T Level standard

• Coordinate and assess learners, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Support students’ progress through tutorials, individual learning plans, and mentoring

• Design and share high-quality learning resources and schemes of work

• Engage with curriculum innovation and the College’s CPD programme

• Contribute to internal and external quality assurance and self-assessment activities

• Participate in open evenings, enrolment events, and interviews

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)

• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (or willingness to achieve)

• Recent and relevant industry experience

• Strong knowledge of developments in the Electrical sector

• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity

• Assessor/verifier qualifications 

• Degree-level qualification
