Job Opportunity: Services Manager – Support Manager for Service Industries
Location: Wirral
Rate: £250 per day + expenses
Contract: Full-time | ASAP Start | Until July 2025
Are you an experienced FE manager with a strong background in Service Industries such as Hair & Beauty, Public Services/Sport, Hospitality, Catering, or Travel & Tourism?
Protocol are working in partnership with a leading FE college to recruit for a Services Manager to provide strategic and operational support to the Head of Department – Service Industries. This is an exciting short-term opportunity to play a key leadership role and drive quality and performance across diverse curriculum areas.
Role Responsibilities:

Support the Head of Department in managing daily operations across the Service Industries provision.

Lead and motivate curriculum teams to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.

Contribute to curriculum planning, quality assurance, timetabling, and staff development.

Monitor performance against KPIs and support interventions to raise standards.

Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:

Proven departmental or senior curriculum management experience in a Further Education (FE) setting.

Experience in one or more Service Industries areas (e.g. Hair & Beauty, Sport/Public Services, Hospitality, Catering, Travel & Tourism).

Strong understanding of curriculum planning, quality frameworks, and funding models.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Available for an immediate start and able to commit full-time until July.
