Engineering Lecturer – Permanent Opportunity

£36,614 to £41,194 per annum 
 
This Ofsted-rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ college is looking for an inspiring and versatile Engineering Lecturer who can confidently deliver across a range of qualifications, including Level 2 EAL, Level 3 BTEC, T Levels, and Level 4 Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).

While the job specification remains unchanged, we are seeking someone with specific expertise and practical experience in the following areas:

• CAD (Computer-Aided Design)
• Manufacturing
• Engineering Science
• Electrical and Electronic Principles
• Electronics
• Mechanical Engineering

The ideal candidate will bring both academic understanding and hands-on industry experience, with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into accessible and engaging lessons. They will need to adapt their teaching methods to suit learners at different levels, ensuring content is relevant, practical, and clearly communicated.

Must have:

• Relevant teaching qualification (or must be willing to work towards PGCE or level 5 if not already held). 
• Level 5 or equivalent in Engineering.
• Experience in one or more of the above. 
• DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
