Lecturer in Hair and Media Makeup (Maternity Cover)
- Part Time (30hrs per week, all year round)
- Temporary (11 weeks in Term 3 and 17 weeks in Term 1)
- £23-28 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
- FE College based in Rotherham
About the role:
- In this role you will be delivering hair and media makeup level 1 to level 3 and deliver on evening courses as well as some weekend work and involvement in competition work.
- You will also be required to deliver vocational maths to this cohort.
- You will be responsible for your delivery, planning and marking, and be prepared to internal quality check across all levels of hair and media make up. You must also be prepared to take part in development where needed as CPD is an essential part of the role of a lecturer.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with our awarding body VTCT would be ideal.
- You will hold a minimum level 5 teaching qualification.
- You will hold an Assessor’s award qualification.
- You will hold a level 3, ideally a degree qualification in hair and media makeup, or similar area, but will need to have a Level 3 as a minimum.
- An IQA qualification will also support this role but you will be supported to undertake if needed.
