- Monitoring and tracking apprentice progress through an online e-portfolio system, ensuring timely completion of all elements.
- Supporting learners in achieving distinction-level outcomes where possible.
- Embedding functional skills in maths and English within practical learning.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers to ensure apprentices receive high-quality training.
- Developing and promoting high-quality apprenticeship programmes that meet industry standards.
- Collaborating with the wider delivery team to enhance the learner experience and improve outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification or above in brickwork or a related field.
- An assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one, with support provided).
- Industry experience in brickwork, with a strong understanding of apprenticeship standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage both learners and employers.
- Strong IT proficiency, with experience managing online learning systems preferred.
- Flexibility to travel as required to support learners and employers.
Benefits
- Generous annual leave entitlement.
- Excellent pension scheme.
- Full support to gain further teaching or assessing qualifications if required.
- The opportunity to transition from a hands-on trade role into mentoring and workforce development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the professional development of future bricklayers while working with a forward-thinking Further Education college.
