Job Title: Property Maintenance & Carpentry Trainer/Assessor
Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College
Job type: Permanent, Part-time 22.5 hrs per week (3 days per week)
Salary: £26,825 – £34,600 pa pro rata

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support leading to timely achievement of apprentices’ goals.
- Form and maintain professional relationships with employers to facilitate effective training and assessment, and ensure repeat business.
- Conduct regular learning reviews with apprentices and employers, setting and reviewing targets to ensure continuous progress.
- Assist in the on-boarding process, including conducting interviews and induction sessions for new students.
- Deliver high-quality training sessions to support the wider learning and development of apprentices.
Education:
- A relevant level 3 vocational qualification
- A Level 3 TAQA qualification or equivalent or be willing to work towards.
- Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance (desirable)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working within an apprenticeship delivery environment is desirable, but training will be available for high-quality candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to form professional relationships with employers and apprentices.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality training and support.
- Good IT skills
Special Circumstances:
- Ability to work flexibly when required, including evenings, weekends and summer holiday periods.
- In possession of a current driving license and be willing to use own car, insured for business use, or alternative means to travel extensively.
