Plumbing and Gas Lecturer / IQA
Suffolk based.
35 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Temporary until Easter, potentially longer
£28-£33 per hour
The role;
You will be working within the college’s construction department, supporting, teaching, training and assessing Level 1 – 3 / apprenticeships students on their courses of study. You will be responsible for delivering education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.
The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about Plumbing and Gas and that have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.
Have you got what it takes?
- The candidate must have a Level 3 or equivalent in Gas
- Experience teaching within either FE or a training center.
- Hold a Cert Ed or PGCE and an internal verifier’s award is a bonus.
- DBS on the update service (happy to apply for a new one).
