Lecturer of Functional Skills English, Temporary Position
Based in Guernsey – Accommodation and travel include
Start Date: February 10th or 17th
We are excited to invite applications for the role of Lecturer of FS English to join an FE College in Guernsey on a temporary basis, starting either Monday, February 10th or Monday, February 17th. The role will run until Easter, with the potential to extend until the end of the Summer term, depending on the outcome of our permanent recruitment process.
Key Details:
- Hourly Rate: £25-£27 per hour
- Hours: 36 hours per week (approx. 25 hours teaching, remainder for admin and marking)
- Accommodation: Self-catering accommodation provided for the duration of the placement
- Travel: Travel to Guernsey covered, with return travel provided at the end of the placement
You will be teaching across two campuses, with a mix of classroom teaching, admin tasks, and marking. We’re seeking candidates with a passion for teaching English and the ability to engage students effectively.
