SEND Lecturer
Location: Sheffield-based College
Contract: Temporary (until the end of the academic year)
Hourly Rate: £23-25 per hour
The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEND Lecturer to join an FE College based in Sheffield. This role involves delivering preparation for adulthood courses to students with special educational needs (SEN). You will work full-time, providing support and tailored teaching to help students develop the necessary skills for adult life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, student-centered teaching for SEN students.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with diverse needs.
- Promote independence and life skills in preparation for adulthood.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Requirements:
- SEN specialist with experience in teaching or supporting students with additional needs.
- Passionate about helping students reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
