We are seeking an Apprenticeship Compliance Manager on behalf of a prestigious university in the South of England to spearhead their new apprenticeship hub.


About the Role

As the Apprenticeship Compliance Manager, you will lead the establishment and operation of the university’s pioneering apprenticeship hub. This role is integral to driving forward a vision of excellence in apprenticeship delivery, aligning academic and professional standards with employer and learner needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the university’s apprenticeship strategy, ensuring alignment with national standards and university goals.
  • Build strong partnerships with employers, professional bodies, and internal stakeholders to enhance the apprenticeship offering.
  • Ensure compliance with ESFA funding rules, Ofsted requirements, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hub, including recruitment, quality assurance, and learner engagement.
  • Drive innovation in apprenticeship design, delivery, and assessment to meet sector demand.
  • Monitor performance and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to achieve high levels of satisfaction and success.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven individual with:

  • Proven experience in apprenticeship delivery or management within higher education or further education.
  • A strong understanding of ESFA funding regulations, Ofsted requirements, and apprenticeship standards.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams and projects.
  • The ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with employers and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
