Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Rotherham in their search for an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to plan, implement and deliver Multi trade/Electrical Installation programmes to a range of learners on full-time and apprenticeship programmes. These programmes will be across the provision up to and including Level 3.
The role;
This role is offering 37 hours per week, on a Permanent basis.
Salary: £29,470 – £37,200 per annum
- To coordinate, design, deliver and develop a programme(s) of study up to Level 3 for groups of learners.
• To work with the Head of Learning, Progress coach and other Lecturers in developing best practice in learning, teaching and assessment, ensuring standardisation and continuity.
• To assess learners according to established guidelines, and provide a positive learning experience.
• To develop full time programmes.
• To design, develop, monitor and share resources for learner use.
• To act as personal tutor to a group(s) of learners supporting their Individual Learning Plans and co-ordinate tutorial support liaising with subject tutors and wider college provision.
• To participate in parent evenings, open events, enrolment and interviewing applicants.
The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about Electrical Installation and that have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.
Have you got what it takes?
- A level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
- A teaching qualification
- An Assessors Award (Desirable)
- Experience teaching Electrical Installation previously
