Job Title: SEND Lecturer (Mix of PMLD and E1 E2)

Working Days: Monday and Wednesday (with the possibility of Tuesday)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with a mix of Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and those working at Entry Levels 1 and 2 (E1 E2).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with PMLD and E1 E2.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with students with PMLD and E1 E2.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Working Hours:

• Monday and Wednesday, with the possibility of additional hours on Tuesday.
