Careers Advisor

Permanent Position 

Sheffield-based College

Up to £31K per annum

Offering:

Job Purpose   

 The Careers Advisor will be responsible for ensuring learners receive independent careers advice from which to inform future decisions. This postholder will be an integral addition      to the information, advice and guidance team and will be required to support relevant activities to ensure learners receive high quality advice and support.

You’ll have:

• Level 4 qualification is CEIAG, registered with CDI
• Knowledgeable and sound understanding on Further Education systems and careers education and guidance practices.
• DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one)
• A keen interest in the concerns of learners and an understanding of the factors that impact on young people with SEND and their decision-making abilities.
