Position: Motor Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at an FE College based in Romford. The ideal candidate will possess the following essential skills and abilities:
Qualifications:
- Level 2 – 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (Candidates with Level 2 will be encouraged to enrol and pass Level 3 to support Level 3 students)
Experience:
- Industry experience in a workshop or dealership
- Experience in an FE College or similar educational setting
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrate safe use of equipment, adhering to safe working practices in the workshop
- Knowledge of workshop tools and their safe usage
- Ability to prepare materials and apparatus for demonstrations and practical work
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team development skills
- Ability to develop and contribute towards team goals
Responsibilities:
- Support and guide students in their practical and theoretical learning
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience
