Job Description

Protocol are working with a Further Education College located in South Yorkshire in their search for a Visual and Performing Arts Technician

The role.

This role is offering part time hours on a permanent basis.

 

You will be working within the Visual Arts department of the College supporting the learners and staff members within the department. You will be responsible for delivering education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.

 

The person.

 

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the equipment store to ensure classes have the necessary kits, and supporting students and teachers throughout. Experience in 3D and/or ceramics techniques and skills is required.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Previous experience working within the Art & Design industry and ideally of working with young people.
  • DBS on the update service
  • Qualification in an Art related subject
