Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £27,425 – £40,369 Per annum

Job Duties:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in plumbing-related subjects
• Develop and update curriculum content to meet industry standards
• Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall academic environment
• Stay current with industry trends and developments to enhance teaching materials

Required Qualifications:

• A teaching qualification
• Proven experience in the plumbing industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent
• Higher education qualification in a relevant field is desirable

Experience:

• Teaching experience in further education or vocational training settings
• Demonstrated expertise in plumbing practices and techniques

Knowledge and Skills:

• Up-to-date knowledge of plumbing regulations and standards
• Strong IT skills for lesson planning and delivery
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Assessor and verifier qualifications
• Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field
