Animal Care Tutor
Nantwich
Part time – 9.30-12.30 on Weds the 16th and 23rd October but looking at the possibility of 5½ hours on Thursday and 9.30-12.30 Friday too

£20 – £25 per hour
You will be working within the colleges animal care department, supporting, teaching, training and assessing Animal Care students on their courses of study, specifically the practical elements of the courses. You will be responsible for delivering education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.
The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about Animals and their care and that have relevant experience in industry fields. The individual will be confident and familiar with working with a range of animals and have extensive knowledge of individual care. The college are happy to take on individuals from industry backgrounds that want to get into teaching or for already qualified teachers.
Have you got what it takes?
- A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (Animal care/ Animal management/ veterinary/ zoology etc)
- Experience working with a wide range of animals
- Great practical knowledge of different species and their care
- The ability to communicate information and the drive to support and mentor learners
