Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £27,425 – £40,369 Per annum

Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Functional Skills and GCSE Maths lessons to learners on a Construction courses, with varying levels of ability and confidence from Entry Level to Level 2.
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback.
• Develop and implement educational activities to support the curriculum.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths.

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Proven experience teaching Maths in an FE setting
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education.
• Experience using educational technology in the classroom.
