Job Title: ESOL Lecturer

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time 15hrs per week

Salary: £22.26 Per hour + Statutory Holiday Pay

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) lessons to a diverse group of learners.
• Assess students’ language skills and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
• Support students in improving their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• A recognised teaching qualification in ESOL or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories and English language teaching methodologies.
• Experience working with diverse groups of language learners.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching ESOL to adult learners.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to enhance teaching.
