Childcare Assessor
Part time (30hrs per week, all year round)
Permanent position.
£24,873 (£20,167.30 pro rata) per annum + benefits

As a Childcare Assessor you will be the key partner to learners and placement providers with childcare and early years settings. You will work with learners to ensure they are supported to achieve their best, whilst developing long-term relationships with local employers that will increase placement opportunities they can offer to learners.
You will visit learners in the employer settings assessing the competency and knowledge of learners. You will manage a range of childcare and teaching assistants and review the progress of each learner in line with organisational expectations to ensure timely completion of qualifications..
Have you got what it takes?
- You will have experience working within an early-years setting as a nursery nurse/officer or similar.
- Ideally hold a teaching qualification and/or an Assessors Award.
- Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
