You will be working 24 hours a week, term time only (39 weeks per year), in a college based across Harrow and Harrow Weald campuses.
£17,165 to £18,244 Actual salary for 24 hours per week, 39 weeks per year – plus benefits!
You would be a part time Student Support Officer, focusing on Mental Health, providing specialist support to students experiencing mental health difficulties through effective information, support, assessment and referrals.
You will also provide advice for staff on recognising and supporting students with mental health difficulties.
You’ll have a qualification in Mental Health, Psychology, Counselling or other health related qualification, together with a good understanding of Mental Health concerns and how they may present in an educational environment.
You remain calm under pressure and have sound judgement and integrity with good attention to detail. The role will involve travelling to external meetings and between two Campuses.
